VR Project Week 5

For this final week of the Harry Potter VR project, I worked on the final assets that needed textures such as the lamp posts, the floor, and the telescope. I also worked on fixing texel density issues with some assets. I also updated the textures of the books to be able to stand out more in the bookshelves. I also updated the trim sheets for the environment.

VR Project Week 4

 This week I was in charge of creating and pushing the environment assets to have their final textures. I was tasked with creating trim sheets for the assets to share. Given that the reference from Dumbledore's office shows that it is comprised of dark oak wood, marble, and metal props, I figured it would be right to make 2 trim sheets to aid me in texturing these assets.

VR Week 3

 This week I was responsible for texturing the grabbable objects. I was responsible for the 2 books, the Hufflepuff cup, Slytherin Locket, and The Elder Wand. I was also responsible for the value separation for the environment. I UVd the assets into one texture sheet and placed them according to their value indication from reference images.

VR Week 2: Clean Proxies

 This week I worked on refining the proxies and working with Bryce in implementing the assets through the pipeline that he set up for our team. I also began preliminary sculpts and texture bakes of the player wand and have implemented it in engine. The rest of the proxies I refined included the player wand, Locket, Hufflepuff cup, pensieve basin, office stairs, books, and bookshelves.
